Breckenridge, Colorado was established in 1859 as a mining town. Today, over 150 years later many of the original buildings remain. While mining drew residents and visitors in the 1800’s it is the amazing skiing, views and local charm that attract people here today.
This small town host the world class ski resort, Breckenridge Ski Resort, which is known for having a variety of difficulty levels on the slopes. During the winter skiing and snowboarding dominate the winter activities but there are also endless amounts of trails for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and variety of other winter sports.
Summers in Breckenridge are breathtaking and filled with hiking, biking, rafting, fishing and endless opportunities for fun.
Located just over an hour from Denver, Breckenridge is a popular vacation home and second home location. It is an easily accessible to those living in the front range and is roughly a two hour drive from the Denver International Airport.
